About The Great Spotter Saga

Wildlife’s history and future is recorded in the Sacred Book. There are three Sacred Books. Two are missing pages at the beginning and at the end; one is complete, and it is protected by its Guardian on the highest volcano in the land.

When Eugene Simple Stewart Falcon, aka The Great Spotter, the silent, sleepy and perennially hungry falcon, accidentally finds the remote home of the Black Nights; his arrival sets the prophecies in motion. For what is recorded, in the two partial Sacred Books is a future that offers hope and freedom. For the prophecies to come true, Eugene must bring hated enemies together, free his homeland from Sid the Silent’s marauding Seagulls, and become wildlife’s inspirational and spiritual leader.

But . . . within the one complete Sacred Book, is an enemy referred to by the Guardian as the White Plague. The White Plague is so destructive, so treacherous, that if unleashed, it will threaten wildlife’s very existence.

The Great Spotter is an eight-book compilation about those individuals who are the true champions of humanity, although I use animals instead, and those, whose need for power and control, corrupt their moral understanding. As these two forces collide, and the pages within the Sacred Book are revealed, wildlife finds themselves in a life and death struggle against an enemy with no remorse, no sympathy, and no scruples.

Characters

Eugene Simple Stewart Falcon

Eugene Simple Stewart Falcon

Eugene Simple Stewart Falcon, aka The Great Spotter, is our main protagonist throughout the series. To those who know him, he is simple and naïve. He does not speak; rather, he communicates by blinking.

His parents worry that he will be hungry and homeless when he leaves the security of his family. They also fear that others will take advantage of him, which they do. But through a series of bizarre events, his reputation and importance grow. However, it is not until he accidentally finds the Black Nights’ remote home that his reputation transcends simple admiration into the mythical realm.

Lord Eagle

Lord Eagle

Lord Eagle is a debonair and charming criminal. He is also the main villain throughout the series. At times, however, he can be heroic, and it is the internal battle between good and evil that makes Lord Eagle such a likable villain. Saying this, as the pages within the Sacred Book become known, his moral understanding gradually warps and his willingness to do the unfathomable leads wildlife down a perilous path.

Leatrice the Leopard & Cedric Coyote

Leatrice the Leopard & Cedric Coyote

Leatrice and Cedric are professors at the University of Turtleopolous. They are also adventurers and when Leatrice becomes convinced that the world is round, she and Cedric set out to prove it.

Leatrice and Cedric are heroes throughout the series. They encapsulate the good within humanity and the willingness to sacrifice ambition and power for the betterment of the many.

General Gs., Commander Runako & Chioma

General Gs., Commander Runako & Chioma

General Gs., Commander Runako, and Imperator Chioma are the leaders of the three tribes on the New World. These tribes have been at war since the Great Fire and all three live far beneath the surface to escape a land ravished by insects.

General Gs and Commander Runako both have in their possession a Sacred Book, but both books are incomplete. Imperator Chioma knows of the Sacred Book and outside of the Sacred Book’s Guardian, she is the only one who knows where the complete book is hidden.

Sid 'The Silent' Seagull

Sid 'The Silent' Seagull

Sid the Silent is the leader of the Seagulls. He is tired of Seagulls being treated as second class birds. To re-establish the Seagulls prominence, he along with his trusted advisors, Colonel One Eye and Doctor Smart, conquer the Northern Continent, imprisoning all predatory birds.

Igor 'The Terrible'

Igor 'The Terrible'
